No. In Switzerland, refractive laser surgery (myopia, hyperopia, astigmatism) is not covered by mandatory basic insurance (KVG). However, some supplementary insurances or health insurers with specific partnerships — such as Assura — offer direct discounts on the procedure price.
Simply present your Assura card at reception at the time of the diagnostic examination or procedure. No reimbursement form or prior authorisation is needed. The 10% discount is applied directly to the quote.
Yes. The 10% discount applies to every Assura-insured patient, regardless of age or policy type, provided a valid card is presented at the time of service.
